Valencia Basket ties the leadership with a victory over Umana Reyer Venezia (83-72)
Valencia Basket ties the leadership of its EuroLeague Women group with a victory against a direct rival as Umana Reyer Venezia. In a very even game in which the taronja led the pace, they were able to seal the victory in a very serious final stretch before a thunderous Fonteta. The debut of Kayla Alexander, who was one of the top scorers of the game, along with Leticia Romero and Queralt Casas, was very outstanding. The victory by 9 points allows Valencia Basket to recover the average of 8 points that the Italians got in the first leg, and thus, ensure the leadership of the group in the absence of a day for the end of this first round.
